Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. My role is to create a calm, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing what’s on your mind. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you and develop practical tools that support lasting change.
Every client is unique, and so is my approach. While I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I also draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems work to meet your specific needs. Above all, our sessions are collaborative — you’re the expert of your life, and I’m here to guide and support you.
I’ve been in private practice since 2015, but my work in the helping professions began long before that. I completed advanced training in couples and family therapy at the Ackerman Institute for the Family in New York City and have served as a clinician in schools, hospitals, and community agencies. Since 2018, I’ve also worked on an Emergency Mental Health Services Team, supporting patients in crisis in ER settings.
These experiences have prepared me to help clients with both everyday struggles and more complex challenges such as mood disorders, trauma, and thought disorders. My background as both a professional and a parent of a blended family also gives me unique insight into family dynamics and relationship challenges.
I work with a wide range of clients, but most often with adults in their 20s and 30s who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, or life transitions. I also work with couples looking to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, or navigate blended family dynamics, as well as families seeking healthier ways to connect and move forward together.
My practice is inclusive and welcoming to people of all backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ clients and those from diverse cultural identities. Whatever your story, you’ll be met with compassion, respect, and support.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered. My philosophy is rooted in compassion and patience — providing guidance without judgment, and listening deeply so you feel truly heard.
My mission is to help you find clarity, build resilience, and move toward the life and relationships you want. Whether you’re coming to therapy for the first time or returning after past experiences, you’ll find a supportive partner in your journey here.
